A Married Couple Became Victims of Hit-and-Run

Mahadi Muslimin a.k.a Suhadi (35) and Hermina a.k.a Irna (30) who were a married couple from Cipinang Besar Utara, RT 04/02, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, became victims in an apparent hit-and-run incident on Jl Ahmad Yani, precisely at Jatinegara Flyover today, Monday (4/25), at around 6 AM.

Both suffered serious injuries, but Hermina died at the scene after being hit by a Suzuki Carry car. The car driver identity has not been identified.

Arman, (35), a witness at the scene told that the victims were by ride together riding a Yamaha Jupiter motorcycle B 4331 TID, from Cawang towards Tanjung Priok. Both would go to the office in Pulogebang Industrial area. After arriving, the Suzuki car suddenly came and hit them from behind.

The victim body immediately rushed to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital for an autopsy. As for Suhadi, is still undergoing treatment in hospital. Until now, police are still hunting the impactor victim's car.
