Education Quality Among Citizens Improved

Jakarta Provincial Government keeps trying to improve education quality for Jakartans. By doing so, it is hoped the future generations can have the ability and are able to compete, especially in the Asean Economic Community (AEC).

For instance is by improving education quality, from our students who pass the state universities (PTN) this year got education aid by Rp 18 million per year

"For instance is by improving education quality, from our students who pass the state universities (PTN) this year got education aid by Rp 18 million per year," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, on the sidelines of National Education Day, at IRTI Monas, Monday (5/2).

According to him, besides education aid, it is also to help with the living costs of students. "Our students must keep the spirit. They think will not get the living cost, despite they pass the PTN. That's why we will help them in this matter," he stated.

Tower Flat Children Get Informal Education

In addition, the other thing that will be provided is nutrients for KJP recipient. Entire rice and meat market operations are also preferred for them.

"In the upcoming June, we will launch Jakarta One card. We want all use non-cash, so it also makes education in Jakarta to be better," he disclosed.
