Flat Mafia will Be Imprisoned

The city had won the dispute before in the era of Ali Sadikin. But the testimony of the local headmen, making the city government lost. His party should pay rent money by Rp 40 billion. Moreover, the claimant never pays the land and building tax (PBB). "In Jakarta, we can find cases with land verponding (property ownership proof) and suddenly win," he expressed.

According to him, the land verponding land should have been void if it is more than 30 years. But it could be processed back as proof of ownership.

"That's why there is land broker to process the matter," he stated.

Another example is land ownership with girik proof (customary land appointments). Thus locals who have girik means use it illegally.

"This is government land also. It is about buildings, trees, and compensation. They can use it, instead of controlling," he uttered.
