Retail Company Involved to Increase ZIS Fund

To increase ZIS fund, the East Jakarta administration is cooperating with a retail company. Later on, in 200 outlets of minimart, there will be Bazis charity box.

It will help to find donors, especially customer who shopping to set aside their sustenance for Bazis charity box

C. Jakarta BAZIS Spread Charity Box at Minimarket

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana said cooperation is packaged in form of people empowerment and development (PPU) program. It is expected able to increase ZIS fund and exceed target.

"It will help to find donors, especially customer who shopping to set aside their sustenance for Bazis charity box. There are about 200 boxes that will be placed in 200 outlets," he stated, Wednesday (5/11).

According to him, if people awareness is high in charity, ZiS target will hit Rp 30 billion that is targeted this year.

Head of East Jakarta Bazis, Dwi Busara added, last year, fund revenue was Rp 26.9 billion. The amount exceeds approximately Rp 400 million from its initial target of Rp 26.5 billion.

"This year, we are targeting Rp 30 billion. Thus far, we have collected Rp 2.4 billion," he finished.
