Classroom Door must Be Closed During Break Time

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat instructed all school principals to close the classroom door during break time is ongoing. Besides for security, this way can increase social interaction among students.

"All principals must close the classroom door during break time. Let the students outside the classroom," he expressed, at City Hall, Monday (5/16).

Outside the class, he continued, students can interact with each other. Thus it can reduce potential of violence or bullying of students

Basuki Wants Students to Have High Ideals

"If they know each other, it will automatically stimulate a sense of friendship, a close friendship. There's no more bullying," he stated.

Djarot also stressed the parents to more firmly educate their children outside of school hours. If there are children act wrong, children must be reprimanded.

"I also have children. If my children are naughty, I will tell their teachers and principals to be sanctioned. By doing so, they will get true education," he finished.
