Firecracker & Liquor During Ramadan wil Be Intensified

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Jupan Royter disclosed that all his personnel are instructed to conduct firecracker and liquor raid ahead and during Ramadan.

"We'll coordinate with related unit, such as Social Dept, Population and Civil Registration Dept as well as Tourism and Culture Dept," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (5/18).

The raid will also be done along with police every month. "We cooperate with police for the raid. It will be done routinely every month. After being seized, we will destroy the firecracker and its liquor," he expressed.

Prior to the raid, his side should have permission letter and state court letter first from each region. The letter that must be obtained is seizure permit letter and destroying letter for firecracker and liquor.

Additionally, Satpol PP would also conduct raid that relates with five orderly, such as street vendor, trash, demonstration, traffic and residential.

"The point is we will use such five orderly during the raid," he closed.
