Jakarta Provincial Government is going to set up a temporary shelter in the near future in order to lighten the peddlers' burden in Pasar Senen where fire had burned their kiosks on Friday (4/25). "We're currently focusing on the procurement of free temporary shelter in Block V belongs to Pembangunan Jaya. We also provide 1,000 kiosks that will be rented," said Director of PD Pasar Jaya, Djangga Lubis, Sunday (4/27).
Lubis stated, the temporary shelter will be built as soon as possible. Jakarta government also plans to renovate the Pasar Senen Block-III totally.
Pasar Senen Renovation Accelerated"We plan to build the shelter in front, behind, and beside of Pasar Senen. But its construction will take a long time due to the shelter would have two floors," he explained.
