9,332 Vehicles Controlled During Patuh Jaya Operation

It has been entered 11 days of Patuh Jaya Operation, the officer has disciplined 9,332 vehicles. Of that number, 8,695 of them are ticketed and 637 other vehicles are given verbal and written warning.

Motorcycle is secured due to incomplete vehicle document. As for the STNK, the rider does not have SIM when being checked by the officer

Head of Bin Gakkum Sub-directorate for Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Budianto disclosed, from the operation, as many as 3,297 sheets of SIM and 5,356 sheets of STNK are secured. Not only that, the officer also secured 42 motorcycles.

"Motorcycle is secured due to incomplete vehicle document. As for the STNK, the rider does not have SIM when being checked by the officer," he expressed, Thursday (5/26).

He furthered, from 8,695 vehicles ticketed, comprising 146 buses, 576 mikrolet minibuses, 127 metromini buses, 408 taxis, 248 good cars and 754 private vehicles, as well as 6,436 motorcycles.

Every vehicle has varied violation, ranging from conducting contra flow, stop and pass zebra cross, stop and pick up passenger in forbidden area, etc.

Additionally, the driver also does not use a seat belt, not wear a helmet and use a cell phone while driving. Even many motorcyclists do not turn on the headlights and overloaded.
