Illegal Parking, 30 Motorcycles in Karet Controlled

Due to illegal parking, as many as 30 motorcycles alongside Jl Penjernihan and Komando Raya, Karet Urban Village, Setiabudi are controlled by Satpol PP officer, Monday (5/30).

 Setiabudi, especially in Karet Urban Village, is very prone to illegal parking because of many office buildings

Head of Karet Urban Village Satpol PP, Solihin disclosed, majority of the vehicle owners are employees and visitors of the office building. "The controlling is compliance with the officer monitoring and public report. Generally, they just want to get easier, whereas we have provided a parking lot inside the building," he expressed.

The visitor was surprised when they saw their vehicles' tire valves removed by the officer. But other owners scrambled to secure their vehicles from the controlling.

Meanwhile, the other building visitors decided not to park on the roadside when they saw the officer tried to remove the motorcycle's tire valve due to illegal parking.

"We do this to give them deterrent effect. Setiabudi, especially in Karet Urban Village, is very prone to illegal parking because of many office buildings. We want they are aware of the rules and does not harm the road users," he finished.
