Demonstration in Front of JIS Kindergarten Ends in Disarray

As many as 15 people staged a demonstration in front of the Jakarta International School (JIS), Jalan Terogong Raya No. 33, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Tuesday (4/29). Unfortunately, the demonstration led to a riot by pushing each other between the protesters with media crews.

You don't understand the problem, so don't do the demonstration

The chaos started when one of protesters offended to the question posed by one media crew. The demonstration began at around 1 PM, where protesters demand the Education and Culture Ministry to re-operate the JIS Kindergarten. They also did an oration about 15 minutes.

Afterwards, the media crew confirm the intent and purpose of the protesters. Due to less mastered the subject matter and demands material, making one of the protesters was nervous and could not answer any questions from the media crew.

Suddenly, another protester wearing a cap instantly said harshly and answer questions from a female reporter from one of the private TV stations. Annoyed with such rude words, the other media crew immediately defend her until causing chaos.

Pushing each other could not be avoided until other rude words came out. "You don't understand the problem, so don't do the demonstration," said one media crew. "Where your nationalist media soul?," replied protesters.

Not long after, the situation could be controlled by dozens Cilandak Sector Police officers. "Stop the riot," shouted Chief of Cilandak Sector Police, Sr. Comr. Sungkono.

About 20 minutes later, they eventually dispersed into different sides.
