North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept sent 10 rubber boats and 2 big cars have been sent to evacuate residents affected the collapsed dam at Jalan Mutiara 1, Pluit, Penjaringan. These residents are from RT 15/16, Pluit.

"Since last night, we continue to help and evacuate the victim. We do not know how many because we still focus on doing handling," said Head of North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Satriadi Gunawan, Saturday (6/4) dawn.

According to him, the water has not been receded because the collapsed dam is not yet closed. Hence, as many as four pums have been prepared to suck up water from the residential.

"Water as high as 50-60 cm inundates along Jalan Mutiara 1. We also send two units of lightning car to give more lighting," he told.

He added, along with Social Sub-dept and Disaster Disaster Mitigation Office, his side is ready to send aid for the victims. The temporary aid is only evacuation to a safer place.
