"The recipients receiving the funds are existing beneficiaries who have gone through the matching process and been declared eligible. Distribution to existing beneficiaries began on Thursday, February 12, 2026," said Iqbal Akbarudin, Head of Jakarta Social Agency, Friday (2/13).

The total number of recipients of the 2026 PKD social assistance program was initially set at 215,524 people. This number comprised 210,881 existing beneficiaries and 4,643 new beneficiaries.

However, after data matching with various sources in February 2026, the number of people declared eligible increased to 214,572. This includes 209,949 existing recipients and 4,623 new recipients.

For new beneficiaries, the account opening process and ATM card distribution will be carried out before assistance is distributed.

"This is run to ensure that aid reaches the right targets and is distributed in an accountable manner," he stated.

The Jakarta Provincial Government remains committed to maintaining transparency and data accuracy in the distribution of social assistance.

"It is hoped that this PKD social assistance can ease the burden and provide real benefits for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities in Jakarta," he hoped.
