Pramono also highlighted the current global situation and the world's unfavorable conditions. Regarding the impact of global conflict in Jakarta, Pramono stated that the Jakarta Provincial Government will continue to exercise caution and maintain communication to ensure the capital's stability.
He warned that war, whether direct or indirect, could have an impact, especially if it occurred on a global transportation route such as the Strait of Hormuz.
"Disruptions on these routes have the potential to cause price increases and disrupt supply chains. Therefore, he called on all elements of society to work together to safeguard Jakarta, especially during the Eid al-Fitr celebrations," he said.
Pramono also reminded the importance of maintaining the steadfastness, comfort, safety, joy, and happiness of Jakarta residents.
Previously, Pramono opened the Jakarta Ramadan Festival at the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout. For the first time, approximately 1,300 tambourines accompanied Ramadan songs and hymns. The event will continue until Eid al-Fitr.
The main theme is "Mudik to Jakarta." Pramono encouraged the public to make Jakarta their homecoming destination.
"The Jakarta Provincial Government will provide tax incentives to encourage various discount programs in Jakarta. Furthermore, transportation will be free during Eid al-Fitr so that all residents can celebrate together," Pramono stated.
