4,432 Passengers Arrive at Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal

A total of 4,432 intercity (AKAP) bus passengers arrived at Tanjung Priok Terminal, North Jakarta, between March 25 and 29, 2026, as of 7 AM.

"Yesterday afternoon was quite busy,"

Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal Head Sandi noted that passenger and bus traffic at the terminal remains active, despite daily fluctuations in arrivals.

Eid Return Flow: 4,652 Intercity Bus Passengers Reach Kalideres

"Buses from various regions are still arriving at Tanjung Priok Terminal. As of D+8 of Eid, both arrivals and departures remain busy," he said on Sunday (3/29).

Sandi explained that the Eid return flow is still ongoing, with arrivals continuing to outnumber departures.

"Yesterday afternoon was quite busy, with more than 1,300 passengers arriving at Tanjung Priok Terminal. Most came from East Java and Central Java, while arrivals from West Java were relatively fewer," he informed.

He added that activity at the terminal is expected to ease from this afternoon into tomorrow, as students prepare to return to school on Monday (3/30).

"Although the security post will soon be closed, we will continue monitoring to ensure smooth passenger flow and arrivals so that services remain optimal and orderly," he asserted.

Sandi voiced optimism that next year's Eid transport operations will improve, with enhanced coordination, better infrastructure, and greater public awareness of safety and order.

"Alhamdulillah, both this year's Eid homecoming and return flows have been safe and orderly. Hopefully next year will be even better," he said.
