PT Transjakarta Director, Budi Kaliwono said the 500 joint personnel are from Transjakarta, Transportation Dept, Satpol PP and police.

"We send 500 officers to sterilize Transjakarta lane today," he stated, during executive meeting (rapim) at City Hall, Monday (6/13).

He explains, this morning, as many as 150 Transjakarta officers did sterilization. Because, during Ramadhan, vehicle flow is not too dense. While in the afternoon, there will be 500 joint officers in the field.

He asserted all vehicles are banned to use Transjakarta lane. This policy is to speed up the bus headway. Besides that, the bus can also be used as evacuation facility if the disaster occurs.
