Sunter Jaya Residents Receive Food Aid

Residents of Sunter Jaya Urban Village, Tanjung Priok District, North Jakarta, enthusiastically welcomed the distribution of food aid through the State Logistics Agency (Bulog). The aid was distributed at the RPTRA Pulo Besar on Jalan Danau Elok from June 9 to 11, 2026.

One of the beneficiaries, Ida Farida (59) admitted that she was happy to get the food aid to fulfil her daily needs.

"Very helpful. The collection process is also fast and orderly, with priority given to the elderly and pregnant women," she said.
Moreover, Suryaningsih (60) admitted this is the second time she has received aid. Last year, Suryaningsih also received similar food aid.
"I got 20 kilograms of rice and four liters of cooking oil," she admitted.
Head of Sunter Jaya Urban Village, Nurul Hilal explained the distribution of aid in the form of rice and cooking oil is intended for people who are registered in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS).
"There are 4,629 beneficiary families (KPM) spread across 11 neighborhood units (RW) in Sunter Jaya Urban Village. This assistance is provided to maintain food security and help ease the economic burden on the community in the Sunter Jaya area," Nurul explained.
Nurul wants residents to make optimal use of this assistance to meet their daily basic needs.
"We also ensure that officers provide the best service so that the collection process runs smoothly and orderly," Nurul stated.
