Basuki admitted that there are still many teachers who have high idealism. Yet, he does not know where that idealism has gone after the teachers received certification.

“In general, if they have been certified, they become ignorant. It has been tested, two third teachers in the city scored under 50, it’s disaster,” he regretted.

For that, Basuki hoped that Administrative Law Civil State (UU ASN) could be applied soon to fix the education quality in the city.

“We want to fire PNS teachers who do not work unruly and we will move them to other institution functionally. Because their heart is no longer teacher’s heart,” he stated.
