Social media clips show Achmad talking through regulations with street vendors prior to enforcement, addressing their situations while offering clear paths forward.

The human-centric strategy quickly went viral. One clip on Satpol PP Jakarta’s official Instagram hit over a million views, with multiple videos picked up by mainstream TV networks.

He stresses the viral moments are genuine daily practice, not content created for social feeds.

“Our role isn't solely about policing—it's about service, education, and problem-solving. Real order is built on mutual understanding, not just force," he noted.

According to him, every situation on the ground is unique. That's why officers must listen to residents before taking action.

“When issues arise in the field, enforcement isn't our first instinct. We aim to talk first, hear the community out, and then find the best resolution within existing regulations,” he added.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head Satriadi Gunawan underscored the critical role of human-centered policing across field teams.

He noted that officers need to strike a balance—firmly upholding regulations while maintaining a warm, humble, and responsive posture toward residents.

“Our personnel must enforce rules decisively, but always lead with empathy, humility, warmth, and responsiveness in public service,” he stressed.

Gunawan added that lasting order stems from open communication and collaboration between personnel and the public, rather than strict compliance alone.

“Maintaining order isn't just a Satpol PP job—it belongs to the entire community,” he stressed.
