As many as 25,955 vehicles are netted in Ramadniya Operation that has been held since June 30 until July 7.

Sub-directorate Head of City Police Bin Gakkum, AKBP Budiyanto disclosed, from 25,955 vehicles that netted, there are only 10,145 ticketed. As for the rest 15,810, are only given a warning.

The police also seized 3,808 SIMs and 6,306 STNKs owned by motorists who break the traffic rules.

"Until on the eighth day, we managed to discipline 25,955 vehicles. And we just give sanction to 10,145 vehicles," he said, Friday (7/8).

Of the 10.145 vehicles, 190 of them are buses, 628 are mikrolet, 145 are metromini, 423 are taxis, 393 are goods transports, 1,211 are private vehicles and 7,155 are motorcycles.

Most violated contra flow, pass on Transjakarta lane, passing on zebra cross, not wear safety belt, not wear helmet, use cell phone while driving, not turn on vehicle lights at noon, incomplete documents and so forth.
