Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama still allows civil servants (PNS) to take their children to the school on the first day of school. But they must get permission from each boss first.

Basuki disclosed, the permission has an impact on the regional performance allowance (TKD). Because, it is paid in accordance with every employee's performance per day. "It's not cut, but you do not get allowance in accordance with score per day," he said, at City Hall, Monday (7/18).

He added still allow and give compensation to them. This is because to take children to the school on the first day of school is the policy of every employee. Moreover, they have leave about 12 days per year.

"This is not dispensation, so just ask for permission, we will give it. But we will calculate it based on performance. If they came in half a day, you will lose half a day," he explained.

Except, he continued, if they can finish it in a day, they will get maximal allowance. "If you can finish work in a day, it is something extraordinary," he said.
