PKL Along Sudirman Sidewalk Netted

Regarding street vendor (PKL) operational on the sidewalk of Jl Jendral Sudirman, Senayan Urban Village at night, the ranks of Kebayoran Baru Sub-district did the raid yesterday, Tuesday (7/19) night.

From sweeping result on Jl Sudirman and SCBD area, the officer managed to control four carts and three mini display cases for cigarette.

PKL on Jalan KH M Mansyur to Be Relocated

Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, Fidiyah Rokhim disclosed his side had got protest from the vendor during the raid. They thought could sell above 8 PM. Whereas, public facility and protocol road should be free from PKL.

"They think after guarding on the sidewalk and street ends until 8 PM, they allowed selling again. As a matter of fact, we did not give them permission," he stressed, Wednesday (7/20).

He continued, the raid was done at 8 PM, because there were still other points guarded such as Taman Ayodia and Blok M Terminal.

"After the officer moved to other points, they take advantage of this moment to sell again," he explained.

Such raid is done to follow up public report and mandate from Mayor of South Jakarta that saying protocol road and Jl Jendral Sudirman must be sterile from PKL and PMKS.

"By doing so, we managed to seize carts and then brought to Satpol PP's warehouse and cannot be redeemed," he closed.
