JORR W2 Toll to Start Operating in July

Jakarta Governor again checking the construction project of Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) West Two (W2) toll Kebon Jeruk-Ulujami, Petukangan Utara Urban Village, Pesanggrahan Sub-District, South Jakarta, Wednesday (5/7). In that occasion, he said the project could finish before schedule.

It would finish in a month. The target is October, but the toll could be used in July. The work has entered last phase, just need to compact it for two weeks and finished, guaranteed

BPN Certifies 400 Land Plots for JORRW2 Toll Construction

According to Jokowi, the construction process of this 7.8-kilometer long toll road is increasing quite significantly. Previously, there were 140 land lots to be acquisitioned. But now, everything has settled and only need to do the payment to the residents.

“It (JORR W2 toll road) could reduce traffic jam in the center of the city for about 20-30 percent. Those from the east to the west get through here, and vice versa. People going to airport from the south are also get through here,” he told.

As known, JORR W2 toll road construction spent Rp 2.2 trillion. The construction is divided in two parts, namely Ciledug-Ulujami and Ulujami-Kebon Jeruk. The fund used is not only fund from regional government, but also fund from cooperation with PT Jasa Marga and PT Jakpro.
