Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama revealed, the current absorption of City Budget (APBD) goes fairly quickly. Until the first semester, its absorption has touched 33 percent or Rp 19.8 trillion of total Rp 67.1 trillion.

"This year's budget absorption is better, which is 33 percent," he stated, at City Hall, Friday (8/5).

It is higher compared to the previous period. He even worry about the budget is not enough to finance the development.

"This year, we have the higher absorption. We've been worried it cannot finance the city development," he expressed.

He explains, tax revenue is decreasing because the global economic situation which affects also in Jakarta. Then plan to release Tax on Acquisition of Land and Building (BPHTB) will also have an impact on tax revenue, despite the scale of the value of land to be acquired has not been set.

"Automatically the income will decline. But it's okay," he finished.
