Traffic Accident in Jakarta Increased Significantly

Since January 1-August 10, the traffic accident in the capital is reaching 3,738 cases. The number increased compared to last year , which were 3,624 cases.

Sub-directorate Head of Polda Metro Jaya Bin Gakkum, AKBP Budiyanto said the increase in traffic accident is due to human error.

"Accident and dead victim this year is increasing significantly. We continue to do various efforts to minimize it," he stated, Thursday (8/11).

Of the 3,738 cases, the number of dead victims is 353 people. The number increased compared to last year which reached 3,624 cases with 341 dead victims.

As for the injuries victim this year, its number is 1,528 people and 1,458 people in last year. The number increased up to three percent.
