Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama said city budget 2017 will use a template. This is aimed to improve the e-budgeting system and avoid cheating.

“Today’s system is not yet perfect, but we’ll not go down. A template for 2017 city budget will be used. We already know the city’s necessity,” he said, Thursday (8/11).

Basuki added that the budget arrangement is improved step by step. It is hoped there will no more budget cheating.

“Previously, we have eliminated the manual system. Then we use e-budgeting. But budget cheating remains appear,” he added.

Another policy to eliminate budget cheating is using cashless payment. All transaction in the capital must use banking transfer.

“In fact, unimportant budget spending still appears when using cashless system,” he continued.
