Fire Dept Flat in Cengkareng Needs Reparation

Hundreds of residents living in the flat of City Fire Handling and Rescue Dept expressed their grievances. This is because, the flat that is located in Bambu Larangan, Cengkareng Barat, Cengkareng, West Jakarta is in damaged condition and in need of repair.
After it was built in 2008, the flat was neglected empty until 2013
Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, the flat that has two towers and 90 percent occupied by employees of City Fire Handling and Rescue Dept seemed dull.
Such condition is due to peeling paint. On the inside, the wall already broken.
Reparation of Kalibata Urban Village Office Questioned"There are two towers occupied by 200 households. They are employees of City Fire Handling and Rescue Dept," said Aminudin (50), an occupant of Block E Flat, Thursday (8/25).
He expressed, the damage has been existed since 2013. It is allegedly due to the old building that left empty for too long.
"After it was built in 2008, the flat was neglected empty until 2013. Thus many parts of building are damaged," he expressed.
Aminudin asks the flat to be repaired soon. The occupant also hoped water supply from State Water-Tap Company (PDAM) Jaya could be flowed to the flat.
Meanwhile, Sumirat, Section Head of Maintenance and Reparation for Infrastructure, City Fire Handling and Rescue Dept disclosed that his party would repaint the flat and repair the floor, door and window.
"To do it, we will spend Rp 1.7 billion and it is still under tender. Perhaps, it can be realized in mid-September," he finished.
