SKPD Requested to Immediately Sign Up Procurements to ULP
Reported by Folmer | Translated by Isa Efriadi
Jakarta Vice Governor Basuki T Purnama instructed Regional Working Units (SKPD) to immediately sign up for procurements to Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Unit (ULP) before deadline on upcoming May 16. If they did not do so, Jakarta Provincial Government will allocate the budget to repair damaged public facilities.
No (deadline) extension. Let them, they are not right. We’ll cut (their budget) and allocate the money to other things. I’d better (use the money to) concrete TransJakarta bus lanes in 15 corridors
Only 62 SKPDs Request for Auction Trough ULP
“No (deadline) extension. Let them, they are not right. We’ll cut (their budget) and allocate the money to other things. I’d better (use the money to) concrete TransJakarta bus lanes in 15 corridors,” stated Basuki, Sunday (5/11).
According to Basuki, the unabsorbed budget by SKPDs can be used to buy Sumber Waras Hospital (RS).
“We can also build a cardiovascular center there,” he added.
For budget year 2014, Jakarta Provincial Government has 56,000 activities which 7,000 of them must be processed through auctions. Until now, only 302 activities have been proposed for auctions and 18 activities are currently in auction process. From those 302 activities, 167 packages were returned and 116 packages have to be reviewed.
From a total of 750 SKPDs, only 60 of them have signed up for procurements to Jakarta ULP. If those SPKDs did not complete the documents, Jakarta Provincial Government’s activities cannot be carried out because the auctions must be conducted through ULP. The ULP itself is an institution formed couple months ago by Jakarta Provincial Government to tighten auction process.
