I ordered (Jakarta BPKD) to disburse their money. It is insane if the fund disbursement waited until the presidential election and money disbursed in October,” he stated at City Hall, Monday (5/12).

According to Basuki, the money is needed to pay the salary of KONI employees and finance the regional coaching of athletes from 44 sports.

The 2014 APBD will Soon Be Announced

“I want the fund to be disbursed today. The money to pay salary, pay honorary workers, pay whatever must be sent. I don’t understand whether they stupid or scared or deliberately tricked us,” he expressed with a high tone.

Moreover, Basuki also complained the performance of BPKD for being not responsive to the delay in disbursement grant for KONI because careless and lack of coordination. BPKD should have sent letter or met the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to ask for direction which institutions or boards that are allowed to receive grant funds or social aid in the 2014 City Budget (APBD).

“Just send a letter first, which can, which cannot. BPKP supposed to be active,” he asserted.
