Sulianti Saroso RSPI Elevator Jammed, 4 People Trapped

Four people were trapped in an elevator on the 4th floor of Sulianti Saroso Central Infection Hospital (RSPI), Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-District, North Jakarta, Wednesday (3/14) at around 1 PM. Fortunately, they can be saved after the technicians came 10 minutes afterwards.

There had been a communication between the people inside the elevator and the visitors outside. The elevator’s doors can finally be opened about 10 minutes later

An eyewitness told that the elevator just suddenly stopped with four people in it, three visitors and a cleaning service officer.

“There had been a communication between the people inside the elevator and the visitors outside. The elevator’s doors can finally be opened about 10 minutes later,” said the eyewitness.

Even though there were no casualties, the incident had caused the hospital’s visitors afraid to use the elevator. As a result, some of them used the stairs to the second floor.

“Everyone is saved, the elevator just bogged down,” explained another eyewitness.

The hospital’s officials were not in place when beritajakarta.com tried to ask for confirmation.

“The people who can give statement about the incident cannot be reached at the moment,” stated Tiyur, a staff of Sulianti Saroso RSPI Legal and Partnership Division.
