Krukut Overflowed, Cipinang Melayu Inundated

An overflowing water of Sunter River has flooded the residential in RW 03 and 04 Cipinang Melayu, Makasar, East Jakarta, Thursday (9/14), at around 9 PM. Until this morning, it has not receded

RW 03 Cipinang Melayu Chairman, Muchtar Usman disclosed, before being flooded, all residents had been informed via a loudspeaker in musala, mosque and WA group/short message. Thus they have done anticipation early. But last night, water level was more than one meter in RT 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14.

Krukut River Normalization in Kemang Stopped Temporarily

"Water began to recede this morning. There is no people take a refuge because familiar with this condition," he stated.

Meanwhile, Chairman of RW 04 Cipinang Melayu, Irwan Kurnianto disclosed, similar condition is also spotted in RT 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 and 07. Water level reaches 60-70 centimeters.

Flooding often occurs due to the condition of times that still narrowed. Unlike in RW 09, 10, 11 and 12 are already normalized. Kali Sunter so that the width is 20 meters.
