Police Raid Drug Factory on Jalan Utama Sakti Raya

The ranks of City Police Drug Directorate have raided a three-story drug factory on Jalan Utama Sakti Raya, No.29 A, Wijayakusuma Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-District, West Jakarta, Friday (5/16), at around 9.30 PM. In the raid, police managed to arrest Rusli a.k.a Ayung (44) and seize some evidence used for concocting crystal methamphetamine.

City Police Drug Director, Sr. Comr. Eko Daniyanto explained police successfully detained Rusli after getting a report from locals. His status is in police's most wanted list (DPO) since December 2013.

"We have been hunting the suspect since December 2003," he expressed, Saturday (5/17).

He disclosed that besides arresting Rusli, some evidence were also confiscated in form of crude meth where its weight will be 15 grams after being watered, followed by acetone 60 liters, red phosphorus 50 liters, HSL 20 liters, astmasoho  400 thousand pills or 112 kilograms. All of them are used to make crystal methamphetamine. 

Chief of Tanjung Duren Metro Sector Police, Sr. Comr. Firman Andreanto added that from suspect's statement, the factory has been rented over two years and his drug business has been ongoing about eight months.

"The meth is not distributed, but only consumed and distributed to his friends. Nevertheless, police keep investigating the case deeply. Then for the amount of crystal methamphetamine is still awaiting the results of laboratory test," he stated.
