Renggo’s Alleged Persecutor still Follow USBD

SY (12), a six grader in State Elementary School (SDN) Makasar 09 Pagi, East Jakarta, who allegedly abused his junior, Renggo Khadafi (11) to death, is still allowed to take the Region Standardized School Exam (USBD), Monday (5/19).

Same as other students, SY take Bahasa Indonesia test on the first day of USBD. There are 80 students recorded as USBD participants in SDN Makasar 09 Pagi who are divided to four classrooms. SY takes the exam in the second room, seats on the second last chair from behind with 20 other students.
The exam finished at 10 AM. But seeing many reporters, SY ran and joined other students out from the classroom. The school forbids reporters to have interview with SY. “Excuse me, Sir, please let him (SY) through. Don’t interview him, poor him,” said a teacher to tens of reporters.
Renggo’s Death Over Bullying Case Reported to GovernorHead Section of Makasar Sub-District Primary Education Department, Supriyadi, explained that SY is listed as a 6th grade test participant in SDN Makasar 09 Pagi. “He takes USBD of 2013-2014 because he is listed as a test participant,” told Supriyadi.
As known, SY was allegedly abused Renggo on April 28, 2014, in Renggo’s classroom. The abuse happened because Renggo unintentionally dropped SY’s banana ice. Renggo had been treated in Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, but he died on Sunday (5/4) at 1 PM.
To the investigators in East Jakarta Resort Police Woman and Children Protection Unit, SY admitted that he kicked and punched Renggo. But, until Renggo’s autopsy result came out, SY’s status is still a witness. “We have questioned him as a witness. His status now is still a witness,” stated East Jakarta Metro Resort Police Crime Unit Chief AKBP Didik Sugiarto.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Education Department has dismissed SDN Makasar 09 Pagi Headmaster, Sri Hartini, on Saturday (5/17), because of this incident. Then, East Jakarta Education Sub-Department appointed SDN Makasar 08 Pagi Headmaster, Daryanti, as acting SDN Makasar 09 Pagi Headmaster SDN Makasar 09 Pagi Headmaster. After being dismissed, Hartini now becomes a teacher in SDN Kebon Pala 11 Pagi.
