Tafisa Delegations Visit Monas

Tafisa Games 2016 delegations visited to National Monument (Monas), Gambir, Central Jakarta. The visit is one of the recreational sports festival roadshow the world.

"I am very proud of the Tafisa's 6th World Sport for all games in 2016, making Central Jakarta is one point road show. This visit can introduce monument to another country," disclosed Mayor of Central Jakarta, Manggara Pardede, Monday (10/10).

Those delegations are from South Korea, Switzerland, Portugal, Slovenia, South Africa, Uni Soviet, India and Honduras.

He hoped it could be used well to introduce, preserve, promote traditional sports and games which became the nation's cultural identity and heritage.

"On behalf of Central Jakarta Administration, I thank you and welcome to the eight countries that feature traditional sports of each country," he expressed.

Tafisa Games 2016 Committee, Astiar Bahtiar uttered, the activity conducts road show in five cities. For Central Jakarta, it is conducted in Monas that aims to introduce community recreation sports.

"We want to introduce recreational sports to the public," he finished.
