Jalan Kramat Raya Rampant of Street Vendors

Severe traffic jam on Jalan Kramat Raya, Senen Sub-District, Central Jakarta, becomes worst. Many duco painting workshops, tire patch workshop, and street vendor (PKL) shanties becomes the main cause of traffic jam on the area. This condition also makes pedestrian have to budge, because of the sidewalk which should be used by pedestrian now is occupied by traders.

They are often seducing woman, this is the main problem

Tatan (25) a private bank officer on Kramat said, the existence of traders are more worrying. Besides of using sidewalks as their trading place, they are often seducing woman that walking near them.

"There are many of them trading their goods day by day, so it is difficult to walk on the sidewalk. They are often seducing woman, this is the main problem,” she complained, Tuesday (5/20).

Related with it, Senen Sub-District head, Lola Lovita said, she is still reviewing locations that will be used as a temporary relocation place for traders that make traders satisfy to trade on the new location.

“It does not mean that we don not want to control them, we have to find the appropriate location for the traders. About the time, we will conduct it immediately,” she said.
