The Acting Jakarta Governor, Soni Sumarsono appealed the e-ID card recording to be completed as soon as possible.

There are about 300 thousands citizen have not recorded their data. The acceleration is related with next year’s local election.
“Please pursue the remaining 300 thousands citizen,” said Soni, Friday (10/28).

In fact, if the recording can not be pursued, citizens are able to vote by getting additional letter from Dept. of Population and Civil Registration.
Meanwhile, Jakarta KPU Head, Sumarno, said his side is still updating the voter data. Temporary voter data will be decided on November 2 for city level. It will be announced for public on November 10-19.
“Fixed voter data will be decided on December 6,” he said.
