PNS Must Be Neutral During 2017 Pilkada

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono revealed, civil servants (PNS) must be neutral in the implementation 2017 Pilkada. If they are involved in political practice, they will be dismissed.

It's already declared that bureaucracy in Jakarta Provincial Government must be neutral. If not, we will dismiss them

"It's already declared that bureaucracy in Jakarta Provincial Government must be neutral. If not, we will dismiss them," asserted Sumarsono, on the sidelines of Peace Campaign Declaration and Integrity towards 2017 Pilkada, at Silang Monas, Saturday (10/29).

Role of Pilkada Joint Post Must Be Maximized

He also warned institutions that hold the elections such as KPU and Bawaslu to maintain neutrality.

"This is the commitment, let us keep it. KPU and Bawaslu also must be neutral, neutral bureaucracy so democracy in Jakarta will run safe and peaceful," he expressed.

This message was delivered, because the election in Jakarta is a barometer throughout Indonesia. So it is expected all the elements helped maintain the success of the upcoming elections.

"On behalf of Jakarta government, I would like to say congratulation and run a campaign that is peace and integrity," he stated.

As known, Jakarta KPU holds Peace Campaign Declaration and Integrity, at Silang Monas, Central Jakarta.  The event marked the start of a campaign which lasted from October 28, 2016 until February 11, 2017.
