Jakarta Provincial Government began drafting a curriculum for Public Vocational School (SMKN) or boarding school in Jakarta Islamic Centre (JIC). As planned, the school will be realized in the academic year 2017.
They (student) will study as usual in the morning and then garrisoned at night
Head of Jakarta Education Dept, Sopan Adrianto disclosed, curriculum draft is made in forms of teacher needs and target of the students.
"They (student) will study as usual in the morning and then garrisoned at night," he expressed, Monday (10/31).
SMK JIC Began to Operate in 2017As for the target of the program is the poor. The whole needs of study and food will be covered by Jakarta government.
"This program is very helpful, especially the central government in line to make vocational as education priority plus expertise," he said.
Later on, as the initial stage, there will be three classes. Each class will have approximately 32 students.
