Post-demonstration yesterday, around 75 tons of trash are seen scattered on the street. Jakarta Cleanliness Dept immediately deploys the janitor to clean up them until 4 AM, Saturday (11/5).

Jakarta Cleanliness Dept Head, Isnawa Adji disclosed 500 freelancers are sent to collect trash. After being transported, the trash then disposed to the Bantargebang Landfill, Bekasi.

His side also sent some heavy equipments to optimize cleanliness process in the field. These equipments are 31 road sweepers, 7 compactor trucks, 15 dump trucks, 8 pick-up cars, 11 toilet buses and 4 toilet container trucks. "We do cleaning until 4 AM," he told.
Trash heaps is seen at some points of the mass gathering such as Istiqlal Mosque, Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, HI Roundabout, Tugu Tani, Senen, Gajahmada, and Hayam Wuruk.
"Especially in Monas, we have yet to clean it fully, because the place is the authority of Monas management. As planned, it will be cleaned again by involving freelancer under Cleanliness Dept," he uttered.
Nevertheless, he thanked the participants who have participated to collect trash.
