Jakarta Sport and Youth Dept proposes construction of two sport venues (GOR) next year. The proposal has been included in the 2017 city budget priorities and preliminary thresholds (KUA-PPAS).

Jakarta Sport and Youth Dept Head, Firmansyah disclosed, this year, there is no sport venue construction in Jakarta. His dept only renovated some venues. But, next year, two venues have been proposed in 2017.

"This year, we just do renovation. Because Mr. Governor wanted the venue to be reviewed. But we try it by proposing two venues next year," he expressed, at City Hall, Thursday (11/10).

Both venues that proposed will be concentrated in Pademangan and Kalideres. Formerly, there had been two venues in both locations, yet its asset was deleted. Considering the building needs total renovation.

"That's why we propose the construction in both places next year. It is also as a project pilot in future," he uttered.

Those places were chosen, because they are categorized as densely populated areas. So its existence is a must.

"It is hoped can be useful for local people there," he hoped.
