Lapangan Banteng Will Be Made International Standard

Jakarta Provincial Government intends to use corporate responsibility (CSR) to rearrange the Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta. 

For us, as long as it is for development, why not

Head of Jakarta Sport and Youth Dept, Firmansyah disclosed, his dept still continues to coordinate about the planned arrangement of Lapangan Banteng. Because, the place is the authority of Jakarta Park and Cemetery Dept.

"For us, as long as it is for development, why not," he stated, at City Hall, Thursday (11/10).

Lapangan Banteng Park and Ride to Be Built Soon

He added, in the location, there are two soccer fields and one basket ball field which is his authority. These facilities would be upgraded to international standards.

"If it is ideally using synthesis, we'll use it. But we will coordinate it first later," he uttered.

According to him, the project also includes several supporting facilities. Because, this time, the facility in Lapangan Banteng, is still very limited.

"If it is made international, there will be more supporting facilities such as toilet, dressing room, office for competition, and media centre. But now it is not yet realized. Later on, this is not just the field, but it should also be ready for the event," he finished.
