The ranks of Jakarta Transportation Dept have demolished 29 out of 74 illegal billboards on the crossing bridge. It is targeted another demolishment to be finished in the upcoming December.

Jakarta Transportation Dept Head, Andri Yansyah disclosed, there are totally 75 billboards on the bridge under his authority. In addition, there are still some billboards under the authority of Bina Marga General Directorate for Public Works and Housing Ministry. 

"From 75 billboards, only one has permit. Then the rest are illegal and we want to control them due to dangerous," he told, Wednesday (11/2).

He added 29 billboards that have been demolished are spread in five cities. The last demolishment was executed on Tuesday (11/1) night, with details one unit in East Jakarta and four units in West Jakarta. The rest will be demolished gradually and is targeted to finish in the upcoming December.
