Basuki Understand the Expulsion Towards Garbage Trucks in BekasiBasuki hopes there would be more garbage trucks donated by other parties. Until now, Jakarta Provincial Government has received 73 garbage trucks from various elements.
“We welcome (other parties to donate garbage trucks). Who knows from 53 trucks could multiply to become 530 trucks. Not bad, right? If we had a lot of garbage trucks, there would be no more trash pile left not transported until it is rotten and makes people cannot eat and sleep,” he uttered.
Meanwhile, PERHIT Chairman, Kiki Barki, explained that this aid started when Basuki came to the Chinese New Year celebration event held a while ago. At that time, he complained about trash problems in Jakarta.
“Spontaneously, we wanted to give garbage trucks because trash is one of flood factors in the city,” he told.
Those trucks are ready to be operated by Jakarta Cleanliness Department. They are scheduled to be deployed to sub-districts.
