Village Chief Demanded to Monitor Drain Routinely

The village chief that spread in North Jakarta is demanded to improve the monitoring drain and the conduit. 

I also appealed the village chief to always monitor and ensure the drain and conduit whether the function is still good or not

Mayor of North Jakarta, Wahyu Hariyadi disclosed, in anticipating the peak of rain, his side already started to set up the flood post since November. Additionally, at city level, similar action is also conducted in order to anticipate any disaster during rainy season.

"I also appealed the village chief to always monitor and ensure the drain and conduit whether the function is still good or not," he expressed, Monday (12/5). 

Village Chief Urged to Form Rats Eradication Movement

According to him, if the drain and conduit is strewn by mud and garbage, it will lead to inundation. Hence, its condition should be good, through a routine monitoring. 

"All this time, the PPSU and Water Management personnel have routinely done dredging in the field. Hence, do not let garbage clogged in the drain in rainy season," he closed.
