Jakarta Provincial Government is going to pay the state land affected by the construction of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). It is following the issuance of the decision of Agricultural and Spatial Planning Ministry/National Defense Agency (BPN).

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono disclosed, the BPN has issued a decision that the state lands affected by MRT project must be paid. Previously, he had asked Minister of Agricultural and Spatial Planning, Sofyan Djalil to make a special rule about this matter.

Of 127 dispute lands for MRT, there are 34 plots of state land that should be paid. They are located at Lebak Bulus Station, Jl Fatmawati, Cipete, Jl Haji Nawi, and Block A.
