10 Land Lots Buying Process for MRT to Complete This Month

Jakarta Provincial Government is optimistic pursuing the remaining land lot for Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project by this year. 10 land lots are being negotiated, while the rests are being paid.

Acting Jakarta Governor, Sumarsono, admitted the remaining land lots to be pursued are 10 out of 127.
“BPN has issued the letter, then we’ll pay them. That’s all,” he said, Wednesday (12/7).
State land Affected By MRT Project will Be RedeemedThe payment will done up to December 15, 2016. The budget will be taken from Dept. of Transportation and Dept. of Bina Marga. “If the payment fails, we’ll take it to the court,” he added.
Some of the lots have no price deal since the land appraisal uses 2015’s price. “Some of the residents want payment for land in form of road. We can not do that. Road had already been paid before,” he closed.
