Hoax Bomb Threat on Permata Bank Building

The Tanjung Priok Metro Resort Police evacuated the tens of employees and customers at Permata Bank of Royal Sunter Shop House, Jalan Sunter Selatan, Sunter, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. Those are evacuated after the bank manager, Berta received a bomb threat through a text message on Monday (5/26) morning.

After being checked from 1st-5th floors, the Gegana team didn't find a bomb and declared safe

As quoted by beritajakarta.com observations, at around 9 AM, the text message mentions that a bomb has been placed inside building. Berta then immediately contacted the Headquarter of Tanjung Priok Metro Sector Police to ask for security assistance.

Chief of Tanjung Priok Metro Sector Police, Sr. Comr. Sulastoyo asks for help the Jihandak's Gegana bomb squad to conduct sweeping at the bank's office. "We immediately evacuate the employees and customers of the bank," he stated.

Taman Anggrek Mall Gets Bomb Threat

The sweeping process took almost 3 hours. "After being checked from 1st-5th floors, the Gegana team didn't find a bomb and all declared safe," he reported.

Eni, (24), one of Permata Bank employees admitted this morning, security officer told that there was a bomb threat at the office. "The security officers told me the office gets a threat bomb," she told.

Meanwhile, Slamet (37), a security officer of Royal Sunter Shop house expressed the Permata Bank manager received the threat through a text message. "One of security officers at Permata Bank told me that someone has placed a bomb in the bank building," he explained.
