International Standard Applied for MRT Operational

Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) will be operated based on international standardization. PT MRT involves Japanese consultant, OMCJ. It is targeted MRT operational to run February 2019.

PT MRT Director, William P Sabandar, admitted his side also involves several countries to apply the international standardization.

“JR East and Tokyo Metro are city train operators in Japan. They have good reputation,” he added.
As the human resource step, his side cooperates with Akademi Perkeretaapian Indonesia (API) in Madiun for holding training. MRT machinist recruitment has been started since 2016 and will end next year.
“We’ll recruit 10 machinists for the first stage,” he closed.
