To anticipate the voltage drop on weekends or national holidays in Tidung Island, South Seribu Islands, the substation inserts that built in the eastern zone last November has been operated since Friday (12/23).

According to him, the developer in Age Island asked the additional power and as an additional obligation, through corporate social responsibility (CSR) fund by building two substations in eastern zone that has been operated by Seribu Islands Industry and Energy Sub-dept and southern zone that is under finishing phase.

"Ideally, there must be one substation in southern zone thus Tidung Island is really stable and free from voltage drop," he told.

As known, in Seribu Islands, there have been 20 electricity substations in each residential islands. Unfortunately, only a few islands that have it.
