City Optimizing Tax Revenue in 2017

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to optimize tax this year in an effort to increase APBD value ratified by the General Budget Policies and Provisional Budget Ceiling and Priorities (KUA-PPAS).

That means, it experienced an increase of Rp 1.53 trillion, from the first one we proposed

Tuty Kusumawati, Head of Jakarta Bappeda disclosed that KUA-PPAS raised by Rp 68.75 trillion. After passing through discussion between TAPD with Banggar has set Rp 70.28 trillion.

"That means, it experienced an increase of Rp 1.53 trillion, from the first one we proposed," she stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (1/4).

Tax Revenue must Be Optimized

Then APBD that has been ratified was by Rp 70.19 after passing through adjustment. The increase is also from optimization of three types of tax amounting to Rp 530 billion.

The three types of tax are street light tax from Rp 850 billion increased Rp 900 billion, Parking Tax from Rp 520 billion to Rp 600 billion, Land and Building Tax (PBB) from Rp 7.3 trillion to Rp 7.7 trillion.

There was also financing revenue by Rp 1 trillion. "It is from the estimated increase of an unused fund (Silpa) from estimation by Rp 4.7 trillion to Rp 5.7 trillion," he expressed.

Such increase will be allocated to direct and indirect expenditure. For direct expenditure is for land purchase Rp 749.9 billion, heavy equipment procurement Rp 291 billion, construction and maintenance of grade crossing Rp 209 billion, Seribu Islands reverse osmosis (RO) Rp 93.5 billion, compactor truck purchase Rp 82.5 billion and motor cart purchase Rp 25 billion.

Then indirect expenditure will be used for Madrasah honorary teacher Rp 51 billion and PPMK grant expenditure Rp 35.69 billion.
