Kandang Village Citizens' Land Paid Off Gradually

We do not use the target time, but payment process must be done properly to recipient

Citizens living in Kandang Village, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, finally agreed to accept technical payment of land compensation for public facilities, reservoirs, green belt, and Gendong River's connecting channels (PHB). The land acquisition process will gradually be carried out by PT Boga Bumi Persada.

The amount of compensation payment for 986 houses at RT 07, 08, and 09/RW 13 Kelapa Gading Barat is reaching Rp 250,000 per meter for regular type, Rp 350,000 per meter for semi-permanent type, Rp 550,000 per meter for 5 permanent type, and Rp 650,000 per meter for 4 permanent type. The compensation will be paid gradually to 30 citizens each day. This offer is more successful than previous offer where the compensation would only be paid for 5 people each day.

"Last night, PT Boga Bumi Persada through urban village head had sent letter to locals. We agreed to accept it," said Chairman of RW 13 Kelapa Gading Barat, Bawono, Thursday (5/29).

Head of Kelapa Gading Sub-District Sub-District, Jupan Royter justified that reply letters have been sent to locals. The letters were directly given to Head of Kelapa Gading Barat Urban Village, Sugiharto Timbo, to the Chairman of RW 13, Bawono, as citizen representatives.

"We are not authorized to deal with payments. Technically, the payment process lies in PT Bumi Boga Persada as the owner," he stressed.

Johan Sunarto, representative of PT Bumi Boga Persada disclosed that his side is ready to begin the payment process gradually until everything is paid off. However, citizens have to wait for an answer in writing beforehand. Even so, he refused to specify a target completion time of payment.
